The 72: Partners On The Road

You may or may not know that this week I am in Concordia, MO, about 1 1/2 hours from Kansas City, MO, for The 72: Partners On The Road (formerly Harvesters for Christ) training. I wish you could "come and see" and participate in the experience we are privileged to enjoy. Friends we have made over the years reunite as we "experienced The 72: Partners" are the trainers, and our new friends, the trainees, come together. This is an annual event as folks come from all over the country. We "experienced" ones join together a day early for our own sessions which will begin in less than an hour.

Already as some of us rode on the shuttle from the airport earlier today, we were sharing stories of our assignments in congregations across the country this past year and in previous years. Over and over again, I learn that God uses simple, regular ol' folks to share His unconditional love made evident through His only beloved Son, Christ Jesus with those who are eager for some Good News for their lives.

Well, I just wanted you to know that I keep you in my prayers, and now ask that you keep in your prayers this week this training event of The 72: Partners on the Road.
