Extreme Theology
Extreme Theology: "Dedicated to the proclamation and defense of the most extreme religious claim of all time; that Jesus of Nazareth IS the ONE TRUE God in human flesh and that He died for the sins of the world, rose victorious from the grave and is coming again to judge both the living and the dead."
Sojourner
Sojourner: "What is the Gospel? An interesting question, yes? A question with an obvious answer? Perhaps not. Since the original controversy between Pelagius and Augustine (indeed, since Christ ascended into Heaven), the Evil One has been trying to pull the church into a 'performance-based' Christianity. Mark Moore responds to such an idea like this: The gospel is what we must believe in order to be saved. To believe the gospel is to put one's trust and confidence in the person and work of Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord. To preach the gospel is faithfully to proclaim that historical event, along with the God-given interpretation of that event. It cannot be stressed too much that to confuse the gospel with certain important things that go hand in hand with it is to invite theological, hermeneutical and spiritual confusion. Such ingredients of preaching and teaching that we might want to link with the gospel would include the need for the gospel (sin and judgment), the means of receiving the benefits of the gospel (faith and repentance), the results or fruits of the gospel (regeneration, conversion, sanctification, glorification) and the results of rejecting it (wrath, judgment, hell). These, however we define and proclaim them, are not in themselves the gospel. If something is not what God did in and through the historical Jesus two thousand years ago, it is not the gospel"

Describe Your Past Week Like A Weatherman
Bright and Sunny
Every Day with Jesus: "Every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before.
Every day with Jesus, I love Him more and more;
Jesus saves and keeps me, and He's the One I'm waiting for.
Every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before."

His Hands
by Saundra Brewer and Richard Mowry
His hands reached out to those oppressed,
Can we do less than our very best?
Holistic hands once healed the lame,
And drove the demons from those insane.
He multiplied the bread they ate,
Can we feed the hungry at our gate?
His hands reached out to heal the sick,
Neither sinner nor saint He would restrict.
His hands encouraged those defeated
In our own hands, His task completed.
To those who were homeless or alone,
He offered an eternal home.
Like Jesus, can we embrace the people
Who may be injured, frail or feeble?
Those hands that healed were pierced by nails,
To save the sinner when he fails.
Dear Heavenly Father
Please let me know if you want me to continue with this internet ministry at Amazing Grace Lutheran. Humbly I seek your guidance. Amen

1 Million Love Messages - 1 Blog, 1 Million Love Messages from All Around The World.
1 Million Love Messages - 1 Blog, 1 Million Love Messages from All Around The World.: "From: Katherine, 19, Eden Prairie, MN
To: Those who have been affected by the collapse of the I-35W bridge in Minneapolis
Even though I could not possibly experience what you have experienced:
I share your grief at losing a loved one.
I share your joy at having a loved one returned to you safely.
I share your relief at having survived despite the odds.
I hope that if you are still waiting to hear of those who are missing, that your wait is short, and that the results are music to your ears.
I may not know you at all, but I love you, and in my heart I am glad that you are still here to enjoy life;
I hope you may do so in peace for as long as you live."

Ambassador (WebBible Encyclopedia) - ChristianAnswers.Net
Ambassador (WebBible Encyclopedia) - ChristianAnswers.Net: "Ambassador
In the Old Testament KJV and NKJV the Hebrew word 'tsiyr' (or tsir, tseer), meaning 'one who goes on an errand,' is translated 'ambassador' (Josh. 9:4; Prov. 13:17; Isa. 18:2; Jer. 49:14; Obad. 1:1). The NIV and NRSV translate it as 'envoy.'
Ambassador is also the KJV translation of the Hebrew 'luwts, loots' which means to interpret, or intercede (2 Chr. 32:31). Other translations say 'envoy.'
The Hebrew word 'mal'ak' or 'mal-awk'' is used in other parts of the Old Testament (2 Chr. 35:21; Isa. 30:4; 33:7; Ezek. 17:15). The KJV also translates this as 'ambassador.' Other translators use the word 'messenger' or 'envoy.'
In the New Testament, the Greek word 'presbeuo' or 'pres-byoo'-o' is used by the apostle Paul to describe those who are appointed by God to declare his will (2 Cor. 5:20; Eph. 6:20). The KJV, NKJV, NIV, and NRSV all translate this as 'ambassador.'
The Hebrews on various occasions and for various purposes used the services of ambassadors, for example, to contract alliances (Josh. 9:4), to solicit favors (Num. 20:14), to remonstrate when wrong was done (Judg. 11:12), to condole with a young king on the death of his father (2 Sam. 10:2), and to congratulate a king on his accession to the throne (1 King"
